Meet Simone!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (Supervised by Gina Rodriguez, LPC-S, LMFT-S) who works with individuals and couples navigating identity, relationships, life transitions, and the impact of past experiences. I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients and those healing from attachment wounds and family-of-origin experiences. My approach is grounded in the belief that nothing is “wrong” with you. There are simply parts of you that learned how to survive.
Before entering private practice, I worked in a variety of clinical settings, including college counseling centers, crisis intervention services, and community-based support roles. These experiences shaped my belief that therapy should be both compassionate and practical—offering validation while also building concrete skills for emotional regulation, communication, and connection.
Therapy Philosophy
A Space to Be Fully You
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. Healing doesn’t come from being “fixed,” but from being met with curiosity, compassion, and care. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences, make meaning of them, and move toward the life you want to live.
Therapy is a collaborative process. You are the expert on your own life, and together we work at a pace that feels right for you.
What I Believe
You are not broken.
Your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors make sense in the context of your life experiences.Safety and trust come first.
A strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change.Growth happens through awareness and compassion.
Understanding yourself more deeply opens the door to new choices.Healing is not linear.
Progress can include pauses, setbacks, and moments of clarity — all of which are part of the process.
